Setool3 user manual for all new customers
Before start unlocking you need to make sure following importan steps. otherwise you will kill a phones less than 10 sec. Old phones are to unlock but latest new version phones are complicated. but here usefull instruction will help you out.
All new phones doest matter which model make sure cid version fist.
How check cid version
1. Open software and select correct port and select correct model
2. Click fist on identify botton as showing on picture below.
3. Than insert cable after click identify botton.So if you read cid version 49 red picture showing below that's mean new phone and latest version.
If you read cid 36/37 or below 49 you can unlock phone without selecting restore file. Just click unlock/repair.Unlocking
So if you want to unlock this cid 49 red version than you have to do this following steps.
1. Select correct model.
2. Select main flash file of correct model in restore file area (Showing detail in picture below).
3. And in setting tab select complete phone.
4. Finally click unlock/repair and insert cable.
How to flash/upgrade sonyericsson phone with setool3
1. Make sure cid version again as discussed above
2. If phone cid version 49 so you will always flash you phone with according to cid which you have like if cid 49 than flash with cid 49.
3. For full flash always select 2 file setting tab click the phone option
